How to Use a Retractable Dog Leash:

To take your dog for a walk, simply put on the leash and let your dog enjoy the stroll. The retractable leash will do the rest, as the tape/cord will not slack or get dirty, and you won't need to manually adjust the length.

To stop your dog, just press the brake button. To keep your dog close by, shorten the leash and lock the brake. Be sure to read the directions for proper use.

To attach the leash, lock the brake, place the included safety loop around your dog's neck parallel to the collar, and thread the hook through the metal rings. For harnesses, thread the safety loop through at least one strap.

When letting your dog run, always hold the leash by the hand grip. The rope or belt will extend and retract freely unless you activate the brake. To stop your dog, press the brake button with your thumb, then release it when your dog returns to you.

To retract the leash, swing your arm forward while holding the leash, press the brake button, and pull your arm back. Repeat this until your dog is at the desired distance.

To keep the leash in good condition, fully extend it and let it dry if it gets wet. Remove any dirt before retracting. Discontinue use if the cord or tape becomes significantly worn or damaged.
